Tie Watch Begins
Hamilton Central Schools boys basketball coach is wearing a different tie each game thos season. The ties are gifted by Emerald Knights fans and are accompanied by a donation to Coaches vs. Cancer.
The idea was created by Dr. David Haswell, whose son Josh plays for the Emerald Knights.
Coaches vs. Cancer has long been a favorite cause of Coach Rhyde and his wife Debbie. It became personal when their son Nick was diagnosed with cancer several years ago.
Our mission: capture every tie during the 2008-2009 season and encourage HCS fans and other friends of Coaches vs. Cancer to donate to a good cause and help Coach Rhyde create a new and — hmmm, interesting? — collection of ties.
